I’m a hopeless romantic and I want to tell your story– the laughter, the teary eyes, the hand holding and embraces, the energy.
I love gluten free goodies, my high school sweetheart (who I happened to marry!), our son Theo, our Boxador named Chance, black & white photography, anything linen, and traveling the world.
I’m so fortunate that I live my passion–I’m a wedding, engagement, and lifestyle photographer based in Corning, New York shooting both film and digital. My shooting style is classic and organic; using my natural surroundings to capture the unique energy of each relationship and special event any place in the world.
It’s important for me to get to know my clients on a personal level so I can be genuine and create timeless images that travel generations.
I get excited when you get excited.
I cry when you cry. I laugh when you laugh.
I tell your story best when I feel what you feel.

Timeless, classic, soft, organic and romantic. I strive to document the thoughtful details, the organic moments, and the quiet beauty of your wedding day. I like to blend in but also direct and step in when I need to in order to get the most beautiful photograph.
I am based in Corning, NY but travel for almost 100% of the photographic work that I do. Travel is included for shoots & events within a 2 hour radius of Corning, NY. Share your travel plans with me and I can send you a personalized quote!
For film, I shoot with a Contax 645 and Pentax 645n and use Kodak Portra film. I shoot film because I love the way film soaks in light. It is very soft, light, and romantic -- something you cannot re-create with a digital image. It has forced me to slow down while shooting and focus on capturing the feeling of the moment.
For digital, I shoot with all Nikon equipment and all digital slr bodies have an assortment of professional lenses. I prefer natural light over artificial light, but I have equipment to handle low-lit situations when needed.
I photographed my very first wedding as a freshman in college. My 8th grade English teacher reached out to me to see if it was anything I would be interested in. I jumped at the chance and started shooting weddings shortly after while still in College. Upon graduation in 2012, I started photographing weddings full time. Nine years later and I am still in love with my job!
Every year is always changing, but I usually photograph between 25-30 weddings a year.
I require a 30% deposit and a signed contract to reserve your wedding date.
After shooting a number of weddings , I do have a strong opinion about the best wedding day timeline. We start having timeline conversations even before your contract is signed.
This is an extremely personal decision and one that I cannot make for you. However, I will educate you the best I can with your options for each decision!
Seeing one another before the ceremony gives you a chance to chat, flirt, and take in the intimate moment just the two of you. We also have the opportunity to photograph all of your formal portraits before the ceremony so that you & your guests don’t have to wait around afterwards. We’ll be able to use all natural light and make a relaxed timeline for your day.
I love it when friends and family are so excited to capture moments on your wedding day. However, there are certain times of the day that we kindly ask friends and family to step back and let me do what I do best.
Industry standard for wedding delivery is usually around 6-8 weeks depending on the time of year and the photographer. I limit the number of weddings and sessions I take a year so I do not get bogged down with editing. I want to fully enjoy the editing process just as much as the shooting process. I get so giddy with the thought of sharing your images with you! I typically share sneaks around 2.5 weeks (after I get my film scans back from the lab) and your full wedding gallery around 4-5 weeks.
I am a firm believer in quality over quantity. Because of this, I do not include a specific image count in my wedding collections. I will not give you ten versions of the same image just to increase your image count. I believe in giving you images of the important moments.
Every image you receive from me will be edited. Whether that is simple cropping and sharpening, or more advanced color correcting and tonal curves, or cloning out those ugly telephone poles. I believe in a slower, more intentional shooting process. If you have anything temporary on your face on your big day like acne or a cut on your shoulder, I will of course take care of it in your most important photos. Otherwise, I use posing to not emphasize anything you are self conscious about.
No. A photographer’s style is comprised of two parts… shooting & editing. The editing is the final part where I tweak your images to create the best product for you before delivery. Also, a lot of the beauty is in the culling of the images. You do not need every single image from your day, but instead the best images that tell your story concisely and cohesively. I promise I will not hold images from you of important moments. If you think I missed something when you receive your final images, let me know and I will check back through all the files!
